Automatic Name Tag Laser Marking Machine for High-Volume Tag Production – Precision, Speed & Traceability

The Automatic Name Tag Laser Marking Machine is a state-of-the-art solution engineered for high-throughput, fully automated marking of metal and plastic name plates and tags. Featuring an integrated magazine loader, automated pick-and-place handling, and intelligent production-order software, the system is designed to streamline tag marking operations where speed, accuracy, and repeatability are essential.

Developed by LASIT Laser, the platform supports loading hundreds of tags in a single batch, sequential laser marking, automatic unloading, and complete traceability of marking data. By eliminating manual handling and operator-dependent steps, it ensures consistent mark quality, excellent readability of text and codes, reduced downtime, and significantly improved production efficiency compared to conventional marking methods.

With its compact footprint and modular magazine architecture, the system integrates seamlessly into Indian manufacturing environments, including control panel production, instrumentation, architectural signage, and facility labelling workflows. United Spectrum Instruments is the authorised distributor of LASIT laser marking systems in India, providing application expertise, automation integration support, and reliable after-sales service to help manufacturers achieve rapid turnaround, repeatable precision, and seamless workflow integration.

The Automatic Name Tag Laser Marking Machine is engineered to handle stacks of tags and plates automatically rather than one-by-one manual loading. Each magazine can accept a large number of tags (e.g., up to several hundred) and the integrated pick-and-place mechanism feeds them into the laser marking zone. The machine uses a two-axis XZ configuration (or similar) to position the laser beam precisely across the tag surface and delivers permanent laser-marks (text, logos, bar-codes, DataMatrix codes) with high contrast and repeatability. Special software (such as FlyCAD by LASIT) enables automated production order control, dynamically populating tag data from ERP/MES systems. According to LASIT, the “TowerLabel X” series is ideal for automatic marking of tags and allows one or more operating sequences depending on the customer needThis automation means drastically reduced operator intervention, higher throughput, and consistent quality across batches

The Automatic Name Tag Laser Marking Machine (TowerLabel X) brings together advanced automation, laser marking precision and production-grade robustness. One of its prime features is the multi-magazine loader system: each magazine can hold a tall stack of tags and can be configured for fixed or adjustable tag sizes. Operators simply load the tags, select the production job in software, and the machine handles the rest. The pick-and-place system with vacuum or mechanical handling ensures smooth feeding of individual tags to the laser head and collects them into output bins or containers.

Another key feature is the integrated production-order software (FlyCAD) that links with tag data, allowing dynamic population of marking content (serial numbers, bar-codes, dates) and managing sequence automatically. This ensures traceability and minimal manual error. The machine’s laser marking capability supports various sources (fibre laser for metals, UV/green for plastics) for marking on stainless steel, aluminium, coated plates or plastics with high readability of alphanumeric, logos, 2D codes. Furthermore, the compact, stable mechanical structure (e.g., Bosch-profile frame, Rexroth guides) provides high precision, minimal vibration and maintenance ease

From an operational standpoint the machine offers:

  • High throughput: Large tag stacks, fast feed and marking cycles reduce per-tag cost.
  • Versatility in tag format: Magazines adjustable for different tag dimensions.
  • Minimal setup time: Quick changeovers between tag sizes and minimal operator intervention.
  • Full automation: From loading, marking, unloading and labelling – ideal for integration in factory environment.
  • Industrial robustness: Designed for 24/7 operation, reproducibility, stable mark quality and consistent results.
  • Ease of integration: Interfaces with MES/ERP, supports conveyor outfeed or stacking, ready for Indian manufacturing environment.

In short, the TowerLabel X automatic name-tag marking machine offers a turnkey solution for companies seeking to scale their tag/plate marking operation with laser precision, automation and industrial reliability.
