It features a Silicon Carbide (SiC) solar-blind photodiode with a built-in low-noise transimpedance amplifier, providing a linear 0–5 V DC output proportional to incident irradiance.
With a spectral sensitivity range from 320 nm to 400 nm and a peak response near 365 nm, it’s ideally suited for UV curing, material inspection, and fluorescence excitation monitoring.
Each detector is factory-calibrated and traceable to NIST / PTB standards, ensuring repeatable accuracy and long-term stability.

The TOCON_A8UVA is a solar-blind UVA detector that measures ultraviolet radiation between 320 nm and 400 nm, with peak sensitivity at 365 nm.
